Differences Between Full and Half Blood Vampires
Mark was asked “Are full bloods and half bloods the only difference in vampires? What I mean by that is that is there any different type of vampires. Such as different blood types or things like that.
What was explained to me years ago was that full blooded vampires are sired… bitten and then provided with an exchange of blood from the sire mixed with a venom. Some full bloods were said to have been virtually drained of their own blood making them essentially sterile by their maker deliberately. This so that they would not make another full blood. It was supposed to stop the psychic bond of too many vampires coming back to the original sire. It is also supposed to be this mixture of this blood and venom that turns them into what they become. Full bloods when well fed are virtually impossible to kill. They have to be starved and weakened before you can even get any blood out of their bodies. If there is any left. They are the strongest. Nothing will hurt them as long as they feed but the blood of the dead does weaken them if you can get it into their bodies. Full bloods that feed off animals are supposed to be easier to handle but that might be myth to. If they are weaken, they can be beheaded.
Apparently, half bloods are born into what they are. Someone in their family was supposed to have been fed on by a vampire but their was not an exchange of blood so they did not become a full blood. They said that some humans get addicted to being fed on after a while because it is supposed to be more exhilarating than any drug. So, it was understood that something had been exchanged in this union. But it wasn’t understood what. Half bloods are born from parents that have been fed on this way. Half bloods are weaker and some have different physical characteristics with the eyes and ears. But they can be just as dangerous. They can be stabbed and shot but they can heal quickly. They age but very slowly. Full bloods don’t age. They stay the same. Half bloods can eat food like fruit and vegetables without any problems and unlike full bloods their bodies function like a normal humans. Most do go to the washroom but there is barely any waste. They are supposed to be easier to track and hunt.

He hated being called a Vampire. I don’t think he would even like me talking about him now. And the only reason I mentioned him was because there has been no sign of him here.
He loved to read. Books were everything to him and he told me he believed that the world was changing too fast when radio and television were invented. I can’t imagine him even owning a computer.
He told me that during World War II when he met my grandfather, he chose to be NAZI because they believed in pure blood. He told me that he was of Pure Blood—I guess meaning he was a pure blood vampire. He said there were really not that many left. He regretted being a Nazi later. That’s what he said but I don’t know if it was true.
He made me very angry when he told me that he had forced my grandfather into the Waffen SS at gun point. And made me even more angry after he told me the atrocities he forced my grandfather to comit. At times he seemed invincible like some weird superhero with strong moral beliefs but other times he seemed like a Monster—-hollow and empty. Someone told me it was the thousand yard stare only true soldiers have—this was very strange to me. That’s why I warn people about Vampires.
He never aged and I had seen his pictures from the Civil War in Spain, WW II and tintaps from the American Civil War. There was no change in his face or body when I saw him in person in the 1980’s. He loved to fight. That was his life–fighting and kiling.
Just before I left this group there was much speculation of the origins of real vampires. they seemed like they were splitting in two different groups. The two groups were divided and not getting along. One group believed that vampires were from some other world out in space and that they came here. The other group believed that vampires originally were from Earth—he believed the latter to be true and wouldn’t listen to anything else. He always fell back on old legends and strange stories from the past.

I am amazed of all the information you know about my kind (Half-Bloods). All that you have mentioned above is true but you left one little thing out: I am a Half-Blood and my mom actually mated with a Human thats how I was born Half-Blood if she would´ve mated with a Full Vampire then I would´ve been a Full Vampire too. Well just wanted to point that out, Half-Bloods can be made like how I was made.

the words full blood, to me, would seem like they should be born into it and someone bitten would be half-blood because of course they were human to begin with…

Umm…interesting, i dunno much about the differences between “full” and “half” vampires but one similarity is that they are both fictitious.
But now that i think of it, full blood vampires were the first vampires to be invented but they dont exist and “half-blood” vampires are humans who pretend or believe they are vampires but ‘cos they’re not as powerful as the inventor of vampires described them to be, they made up the new term “half-blood” so they could provide an excuse to why they don’t have any real vampire traits.

Mark, i would really love to see the picture from the Spanish civil war, i know you can’t show me it, but still its fascinating for me to hear that vampires have been here in Spain. After living here for almost 10 years iv never seen/heard any proof that vampires existed here. My friend Antonio was with the secret police during the war and he’s told me some rather interesting stories which I’m now starting to connect with vampires, do you think they where more vampires in the Spanish civil war?

That is an excellent question which problably has a lot of people wondering about it too. Rae is in the right track with the genetics and stuff. If you were to do a Punnett Square and filled it up with AA as Full Bloods, Aa as Half-Bloods, and let´s say aa as Humans then just make the Punnett Square put in Aa in all of the Parental Genotypes then the offspring or Genotype frequencies would be:
AA: 1 (25.0%)
Aa: 2 (50.0%)
aa: 1 (25.0%)
In other words if they had 4 kids 1 of them would be full, 2 half, and 1 a Human. I hope that answered your question if not let me know. By the way Rae I took genetics last year!

That’s partly what I tried to explain. I am thinking, though, would the half-vampire gene be hidden by the dominant trait, so it would appear that he/she would be full- or non-vampire? I really do think there could be a covering gene, though to express the half-vampire trait.
(I can’t wait to really get into genetics as we are still learning the basics, which I remember from biology)

You are so sharp. You don’t take anything for granted. When this was explained to me, I didn’t believe it either.
I thought these people were crazy. I said the same thing. There is no such thing as monsters and you are all crazy.
So, they called this man over with a rifle and he hit me in the face. I still didn’t believe them, and I hit him back. So, they wouldn’t let me eat. I told them what they wanted to know but didn’t believe it.
Later, when I disrupted their class again, they took me away and burned me with a very hot piece of metal. I have many scars on my back as proof.

I did meet the one they referred to as the full blood and thought of him as some kind of freak at first.

I have no proof of their existence. I came to Vampire Truth to see if the full blood vampire might have come to this site. He hasn’t.
The last time I saw him was 1989. He did not look like Dracula. He did not wear black clothing or a cape. He did not have black finger nail polish on. He had kind of dirty blonde hair and looked between early 30′s and late 20′s. He had no problems with sunlight, he was very strong, very intelligent and could speak many languages, drank blood and he had retractable fangs.
After this experience, I was convinced there was something to it. He followed me home after I was expelled and visited me many times.
I learned later that he knew my grandfather and fought with him in World War II in the Waffen SS. So, now you can laugh even harder. Everyone does until they see the scars on my back.

I don’t know if everything I was told was true. But the full blooded vampire I met cut himself once and bled out and healed very quickly and the blood disappeared on his arm. I witnessed this.

I don’t know if full blooded vampires exist in your community but if you are asking if they are out there walking around. I would have to say “yes.” They usually don’t want to be bothered though.
Everyone else insulted by the expressions half blood and full blood. I don’t mean to hurt your feelings look at these words as euphemisms. Really, you shouldn’t care how others describe you. You are my proof. These expressions were used as examples to teach us about what you are.

–ok. so. usually i would never even believe this kinda stuff. but a couple days ago my boyfriend decided to tell me he was a half-blood. i totally thought he was crazy. but then he started telling me all this weird stuff that sounded like he couldn’t have made it up. but he didnt call it a half-blod, he called it a Damphire. idk to believe him or totally ignore him and tell him he’s crazy. but i find these facts interesting and was wondering if you knew anything that could obviously point out a vamp. from a human.

K,so. I have a problem almost like Emma’s. My boyfriend just recently told me that he was a half blood. All I know is that he has really sharp teeth… I know because he bit me. He had drawn blood. He has told me multiple times that it is tempting to feed off of me and I have actually had to hold him back from his friend who was bleeding. Take out the part that says I hate twilight… That wasn’t supposed to go there >.< And it cut out a part about how my boyfriend bit my neck and drew blood…. It hurt for a few weeks and I kept poking it… He said that the reason it was so sore was because there was venom in it…. And that the more I poked it, the more it spread…. I dont know what to believe

The part about I hate twilight is Something it cut out. Here is what I had said. My boyfriend told me that he had been turned 6 months ago and the half bloods in his community tried to oly feed off of animals (reminded me of twilight >.< I hate twilight)
