The First Vampire Legends of Lilith

Lilith
This myth begins at the very creation of man and of Lilith (the first woman created for Adam).
So God created man and woman in his own image and blessed them. Many have made her a model for feminism, because when Adam would not relent in his domination of her, she grew so angry that she uttered the Holy name of God and vanished.
God then had to make Eve for Adam, making her of his rib bone, so that she would be attached to him and not leave as Lilith had done.
Here, Lilith went out to the Red Sea, where she made a bargain with the Angels and she was allowed to stay out on her own, as a witch, and MOTHER OF ALL DEMONS.
Cain was the first born son of Adam and Eve. He was banished, with a mark, from the land of his parents because he killed his brother Abel in a jealous rage. He was cursed by God and was forced to stalk the fringes of civilization, fearful of the sun and ravenous for blood, as he was refused by nature for fruits and vegetables.

Lilith in the Garden of Eden
According to vampire legend, Cain wandered until he found Lilith by the Red sea. She took him in and showed him the power of blood. (The Tree of life represented in blood, and thus why drinking blood / being a vampire is such a big deal in a religious context).
From Cain and Lilith came a host of demons and vampires in vague myths. Lilith taught Cain many things, including how to use his blood to evoke mystic powers and how to create others of his kind. At first Cain refused to beget, believing it was wrong to curse the world with others of his kind. But eventually he grew lonely and brought three others into the Vampiric fold. These three in turn begat 13 more.
Cain outraged by this behavior, forbade the creation of any more progeny. Gathering his children and grandchildren to him Cain built a great city – The first city in the world – where vampires and mortals coexisted in peace.
Finally the city was overthrown – some say a natural disaster was the cause; others that a spurned child’s vengeful sorcery precipitated the cataclysm. Cain vanished into the wastes, never to be heard from again.
Three vampires of the second generation likewise disappeared into the mists of legends, and the children and grandchildren became the true vampires.

Wow! great theory.
June 2nd, 2009 at 10:40 pm
where in the world did you hear this version? i’ve never heard of a lilith before and i would very much like to know the name of this city. this story sounds very much like the queen of the damned and the vampire series by anne rice. non the less i found this quite interesting. thanks

bracket actually wrote this on another story but I will quote him here “The Kabbalah states that she was created before Eve, with Adam, but wouldn’t be submissive during sex so was kicked out of Eden. She then subsequently became a demon.’

Could this city be Iram, the city of pillars?

According to hebrew/Jewish text: When god created Adam, he was lonely, so God created Lilith from the same dust from which Adam was molded. But they quarrelled. Adam (The proverbial domineering male) wished to rule over Lilith. But the Lilith (A militant feminist) was also proud n willful, claiming equality with Adam because she was created from the same dust. So she left the Adam n fled the garden. And then God had to make Eve for Adam. And this time god made her from his rib bone, rather than dust.

Legend says that after meeting with Lilith Cain moved to the land called land of Nod [which means 'shaking' or 'trembling'] , on the east of Eden. Cain mentioned in bible as having a no. Of legitimate children with an unnamed wife. One of them was Enoch. So when Cain built a city ,n called the name of the city , after name of his son Enoch.
Three vampires of second generation were
-Enoch the wise
-Irad the strong
-Zilah the beautiful . .
Some say Cain named his city after this Enoch.
But the name of the city is same. ENOCH.

Thanks so much for posting this. I’m really interested in Vampires and their origins. I have heard of Lilith but didn’t know she was the mother of all demons.
It was a really interesting read and I hope you post more of these stories. Thanks again.
June 3rd, 2009 at 5:28 pm
It is so good to hear that others believe Lilith to be the first woman. I’m so sick of everyone saying Eve was the first woman.
June 4th, 2009 at 12:14 am
i am sorry this is the first time i have to bow out this is the first time i can’t believe what i’m reading. its probably the way i was raised oh those babtist. i have not ever heard that story in the bible but it was writen by men over 2,000 yrs ago go figure write a book , in this day and age all we want is peace…………………………………………….
June 4th, 2009 at 1:22 am
The story starts with “This myth begins…” so maybe it isnt exactly true as it stands but I believe there is some truth in all myths if we can dig deep enough into it.
June 4th, 2009 at 3:39 am
Thank you care taker for believing in myths.

Thank you for your suggestion, n what I would like to tell you is that I’m not a great visionary or philosopher. I’m just putting forth my views on vampire n their beginnings. As I told in my previous comment that I got the information from hebrew/jewish text. If you don’t believe me you can find more on google.
Or check the book ‘HEBREW MYTHS: The book of genesis’ by Robert Graves n Raphael Palai

I’d recemmend looking up Lilith on wikipedia, they’re bound to have alot of info on her.
June 5th, 2009 at 3:12 am
Chetan,
I’m no expert by any stretch of the imagination. I did read somewhere about Lilith, in Jewish Mysticism I think. Apparently she would not submit to Adam, and she left. Don’t know what happened to her. I know a little bit about Cain, from a Biblical perspective. Apparently his brother, Abel, offered a blood sacrifice to God, which God accepted. I think Cain offered a sacrifice of some crops that he had harvested. Seems God did not approve? Cain became angry with Abel, and killed him. For that, God marked Cain with a mark/scar in his forehead I think…, God stated that no man should harm Cain, and Cain became an outcast. I do believe he and his progeny built the first city. Seems Cain had a lot of potential, but couldn’t get it right with God.

what i dont understand is why did she become the mother of all demons? how was she a demon if she left adam?
June 5th, 2009 at 11:45 am
that’s complete BS, because there was never a Lilith in the bible and for christians out there that really makes us mad. i’m no bible thumper in any means, but if u think that there were VAMPIRES, mythical creatures of ancient times in the bible, and you think that this stuff actually happened, then you’ve gotta be high on something. Your theory, besides the “facts” you put, is not stable at all.
June 5th, 2009 at 12:01 pm
Hi Jenna I dont think it was said anywhere that it came from the Bible. Also the article actually starts out right from the beginning telling you that it is a myth. Also in the writers first comment he tells us that it comes from the Kabbalah.
June 5th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
it doesn’t matter where this story came from, i think it fascinating. think about the dinosaurses, they aren’t in the bible and they were here, where were adam and eve then?? now that i’ve read up on these people, i’m gettin curious about alternate beginnings of man and jeff is right about cain and abel
June 5th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
Jeff
What you read is right. .
Cain was a farmer while Able was a shepherd. At the harvest time Cain brought the God a gift from his farm produce n Abel brought his first born sheep n presented to the God. He accepted Abel’s offering but not Cain’s. This made Cain very angry . . .so he killed his brother in his farm n became first murderer in history. . .
Afterwards God got these information n banished Cain from his farm. . Then Cain said,’My punishment is greater than i can bear. You banished me from my field but everyone who sees me will try to kill me. . Then God replied ,’They will not kill you, I’ll give seven times your punishment he they does.’. . N put identifying mark on Cain as a warning not to kill him. . . .
June 5th, 2009 at 3:25 pm
Jenna . . Let me tell you one thing that bible was written by someone over many years ago. . . But right now we have many versions of bible. So we’ll never know that which one is true n which one is wrong. . . .
And i’m continuously saying that the Lilith thing came from hebrew text. . . . N I’ll say refer the book which i mentioned in my last post. .
June 5th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
Jenna
Actually Lilith is in the bible, she’s only mentioned as a demon though.
June 5th, 2009 at 5:39 pm
Bracket can you give me the chapter in the Bible where she is mentioned?
June 5th, 2009 at 5:44 pm
Lilith is an entity of physichal love
June 5th, 2009 at 5:47 pm
a demon yes but one you can evoke on fridays the hour of venus
June 6th, 2009 at 1:30 am
its in exodus the second book in the bible thats where the worst sin of man begins
June 6th, 2009 at 3:40 am
Lilith is a female Mesopotamian night demon believed to harm male children. In Isaiah 34:14, Lilith is a kind of night-demon or animal, translated as onokentauros; in the Septuagint, as lamia; “witch” by Hieronymus of Cardia; and as screech owl in the King James Version of the Bible. In the Talmud and Midrash, Lilith appears as a night demon.
June 6th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
Chetan, Absolutly correct I have The Jerusulam Bible (it’s accepted by the Catholic Church) and the name lilth is in Isahia 34:14. But my bible is in French, the great owl is refered to a serpant, and the wild beasts are wild cats that meet the hyenas, the saytre calls the saytre. Most bibles were translated from French.
June 6th, 2009 at 3:52 pm
I’m however not really sure of the theory that she is a night demon who harms male children, isn’t that a succabis? In Europe she is the demon of physical love.
June 6th, 2009 at 8:47 pm
Karen
succabis go after grown men and have sex with them to breed. Others say they do it to get their soul or to make them sin.
June 7th, 2009 at 7:13 am
Bracket, but wouldn’t that just reinforce the story………..that lilith is the demon of physical love. cause she wouln’t give it up to Adam? So she wants to torment all men.
June 11th, 2009 at 11:13 pm
Lilith was willing to give it up to Adam so long as she was on top & he lay beneath her. Angry that Adam wouldn’t she then flew away…God sent 3 angels to bring her back. She refused so she was damned to lose 100 of her children a day. And she herself declared that she was created to harm neonates. If a man were to stray & become unfaithful then Lilith was the one Blamed.
June 12th, 2009 at 3:38 am
three angels were Sanvi, Sansanvi and Semangelaf . Lilith rebuffed the angels by cursing them. While by the Red Sea Lilith became a lover to demons and producing 100 babies a day. The angels said that God would take these demon children away from her unless she returned to Adam. When she did not return, she was punished accordingly. And, God also gave Adam the docile Eve.
June 12th, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Bracket,
Lilith was not “kicked” out of Eden….She left at her own will!
June 19th, 2009 at 1:27 am
Amatrix
Sorry for taking so long to respond.
Different books have different stories of how she left.
June 30th, 2009 at 3:59 am
Where did you found that theory? I’ve never heard of someone named Lilith before, all I know were Adam and Eve, I just wanted to know if someone really discovered a vampire who’s on the side of the good.
July 3rd, 2009 at 11:27 am
One thing everyone has neglected here is how did demons existed before
adam and eve were kicked out of the garden? The bible mentions demons only before
the story of noah and the ark and there after. Before it only mentions the devil as the evil one but doesn’t mention any demon up until noah’s ark when some angels saw the woman on earth and wanted to have sex with them. They made bodies for themselves
and came to earth. Thats how demons came to exist. Before there were no demons.
July 3rd, 2009 at 12:57 pm
I imagine cause Lilith was the first wife of adam and it was her that got kicked out first before adam and eve, so then she exsited before adam and eve got kicked out
July 9th, 2009 at 7:22 am
hey peoples. From what I hav learnt there are many different versions of the bible and the catholic church has been known to change the bible for their own purpose (sori flunkd spellin at school). In some bibles you will find mention of Lilith and in others you might not. She was the first daughter of GOD she well couldnt stand Adam (dont blame her really)and buggard off. She does return later in I think in Jacobs time cant remember havnt read the bible in ages (got sick of hiprocrates, lol wanted to say sumthin else.). If you read the bible you will find mention of other Gods too not just demons and Angels and i dont mean just the ones he dont want you to worship. genesis 1:26 God said ” now WE will make humans, and they will look like US. hehehe had to put that in there sori. Lilith is also called the Godess of dreams I remember that from somewhere just cant remember where lol. if you really want to know more about her tho look under Pagen God’s and Godess’s she is one.
July 27th, 2009 at 4:40 pm
Hello, I have learned many new things reading your comments. Some of which I agree and some of which I do not. I do beleive that lilith was the first woman. I do not beleive under any circumstances that there has ever been more than one god and this saffire girl she says sorry I flunked the spelling in school so how can we possibly go from anything she says? the bible also is not full of hypocrits none of us can be 100% sure of what happened back then because none of us were there and words are ever changing. but just like humans we go out and try to understand everything and make truth of what we cannot explain or understand. I came to this website out of curiosity. I am wondering about vampires…. the first vampire were they ever real? you see how this conversation has turned into a religious argument? if anyone can answer my questions i would greatly appreciate it and such as lilith I too enjoy being on top haha just thought I would throw that out there incase anyone was in the mood for a little female domination for a while
July 28th, 2009 at 12:40 am
thank you caretaker for taking care of this situation. i’m sure you have a great many responsibilities when it comes to managing a site as complex as this. i shall continue to read and respond to the wonderful world of the paranormal that you let us share.
July 30th, 2009 at 8:15 am
When I first heard about Lillith I was dumbfounded. I know the Bible leaves many things unsaid and/or suggests things and then moves on leaving questions in the readers minds. Many of the “patriarchs” (i.e. Abraham, Lot, King Saul, and King David) all did things that would be greatly disapproved of today and yet God blessed them greatly. God is qouted in the Bible as saying “let us” and “we” and I believe he is speaking to us as we existed in spirit form before we came here. It is all very confusing sometimes. I do know that there was a war in heaven and Luficer and 1/3 of the host was cast out. Since “misery loves company” Luficer has been kicking up his heels ever since and causing as much chaos and disorder as he can and then when we get it in the teeth we blame God for it – start putting the blame where it belongs – with Lucifer. Since I do believe in Lucifer and his “buddies” then I also believe that there are things out there that bump in the night and they don’t mean to treat us well when they can get their hands on us. I have never told this story before and I hope by telling it that I don’t draw this thing back to me. When stationed in Bavaria – Germany – one night when I was in the apartment alone I was awakened by such a sense of fear that I feared for my life. Something had come up on to my second floor balcony. I could hear “it” investigating the balcony and the things I had out there. Then it began to investigate the steel shutter that came down over the windows and door of the balcony. It tried lifting and ratteling the shutter and I began to pray for protection. Then I felt as if something were trying to coax me into raising the shutter from the inside. I just kept praying and finally it gave up and went away. I have never told anyone, not even my husband of 30 plus years who is my best friend. If there is good in the world then there is evil and you better believe it and learn how to protect yourself from it no matter what somebody else calls it, i.e. vampire, werewolf, demon – it is all evil and you have to learn how to fight it or give up and give yourself over to it. I believe in God and Jesus, but I also believe in evil. signed, busyhands.

Dont forget about pan in greece he was zues son with a nymph he wasnt a god and he looked very much like satan and he lured young women to drink his blood and his blood tasted of wine
August 30th, 2009 at 4:18 am
I didn’tknow that about Pan. When I took Latin in high School we had a unit on the Greek and Roman “gods” and never once was this told about Pan. We were told he was mischevious and liked to play tricks but his cartoon personna (a playful goat playing the “pan pipes”) was played up. So he was really evil? Man, not too much shocks me anymore! Robbie
August 30th, 2009 at 5:35 am
Lovecub
Actually, Pan was a god. He is recognized as the god of fields, groves, and wooded glens. Because of this, Pan is connected to fertility and the season of spring. In ancient Greece, he is considered the god of theatrical criticism. He is not a nymph, his mother is. It’s never explicitly told who his father was, some myth says it’s Zeus while others say it could be Hermes or Dionysus. Also, the stories of having women drink his blood can only be traced back only to the 1930’s.
His similar look to satan means nothing. It’s a known fact that religion evolves using concepts from the past.
September 11th, 2009 at 12:44 pm
my husband keeps mentioning i should read the dead sea scrolls.is lillith mentiond anywere in there? any info on this would be great.thank you
September 11th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
jennieboo – I would suggest that you read this –> Am I missing something? Where art thou Lilith? You will be surprised to find out that Lilith is actually mentioned in the Bible!
September 11th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
Jennieboo – go to the public library and walk through the section of non-fiction, call or book numbers 0001 to 299.9 and you will find all kinds of books about the Bible, versions of the Bible, books about other religions and “cults” and the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Buddah and everything else. If they don’t have it, they can get it for you. All you have to do is pay the return postage. If it is a magazine article all you have to do is pay the xerox fee for copying it and they will mail it right to your house. Of course there is always the internet.
A lot of people ask me why I bother reading all this stuff that is not printed by my church. It’s not that I don’t trust my church , and I’m not looking to go to another religion BUT I want to know what is out there. I want to know what was written in the past, I want to learn and share my experiences – so I read, read, read! Robbie
September 12th, 2009 at 2:18 am
i hear you robbie nothing wrong in that and thanks to you and caretaker for the interesting info and links.i will certinally look into this. i mean ive studied the basics of the worlds religions in 9th grade global 1 but that was a long time ago might be time to freshen up.

Wow i didnt get a thing….:]
October 21st, 2009 at 11:50 pm
Lilith was also the first woman vampire in a novel written by Nora Roberts “Morrigans Cross”. Great novel, though i think it’s also the first book in a three book series. Seriously cheatan find yourself a publisher. Now is the time to make a killing off of vampire books
October 27th, 2009 at 7:32 pm
Nice story, first time i heard of Lilith. Anyway if Lilith was created before Eve, then for sure Lilith is not a woman. Maybe she was a demon from the beginning? Because Eve was the first woman according to the Bible. she was called a woman because she was taken out of man (base from Genesis 1:23)
October 28th, 2009 at 2:57 pm
im a beginner with vampires and stuff so i don’t really know all of the stories but i would relly like to find out about it because i think its really interesting stuff!
October 28th, 2009 at 3:43 pm
Michelle,
Vampires are not real. Just enjoy the entertainment value they give!
October 29th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
hey thanx for the reply i know their not real but i want to ask you what you believe is real and why so please reply me!
October 29th, 2009 at 4:57 pm
Michelle,
I believe in ghosts and other beings. I think because I have had experiences myself that can not be explained. I just don’t believe there are vampires that live forever. I’m sorry. If someone WERE immortal, I think it would have been discovered. I believe there are individuals out there that BELIEVE they are vampires. But they are just different individuals searching for something and NOT immortal and all that.
Here is a question. HOW can someone be born a vampire? Isn’t the main fact of being a vampire or “becoming” a vampire that you DIE and come back?
October 29th, 2009 at 6:00 pm
hey darstarr, after i thinked about what you said and i think your right, a vampire would only be a vampire if it at died and came to life again and about the ghosts and stuff, i would like to know if you believe in the whole canting a name into a mirror and the ghost apears thing like bloody mary and the candyman?!
October 29th, 2009 at 6:28 pm
Michelle,
No I don’t believe in Bloody Mary or the Candyman. Those are just urban legends in my book.
On another post about Vampires someone said that how do you KNOW they aren’t real when they have names. That they had to exist in order to have names and such, and my answer to that was Is the Jolly Green Giant real? And I will add, there are MANY things out there that have come from the minds of imaginative people!
Do you people Frankenstein is real?
October 29th, 2009 at 6:38 pm
Michelle,
You seem like a smart cookie. And I am glad that you DO ask questions. That is the only way we find answers, now isn’t it.
I think there are some very lonely people out there that feel different for whatever reasons and are looking to “fit” in somewhere. They may have dark thoughts because they are unhappy and are drawn to the whole dangerous “Vampire” world, but it isn’t real.
Another example – There have been MANY things written about great Wizards and such – King Arthur, Harry Potter ect. – Do you think Wizards and witches like those ever existed?
and if so, with such amazing powers – where did they go???
You take care Michelle, and keep looking for those answers!
October 31st, 2009 at 10:09 am
hey darstarr how are you, i just wanted to say hey and to tell you that i don’t really believe wizards and stuff exist but if it did i would not mind because it sounds really cool, i don’t know about you?! so chat later see you!
November 1st, 2009 at 7:42 am
I first entered this site after reply # 64 was posted. So, some of my response is a bit late.
Almost all of the world’s cultures have legends about vampire like creatures. Does that mean they are real? Who knows. It has been suggested that people developed legends to explain the things they did not understand. Even the Gods themselves have been assigned to this theory. I said Gods instead of God because I’m discussing many cultures. I know this upsets many christians who always fall back on the argument ” if it’s not in the Bible, it isn’t true.” The Bible is a collection of writings with many authors. It only contains the writings that “the church” selected for inclusion. The Old Testament is a collection of Hebrew writings. It is far from all inclusive. Many other books of Hebrew writings exist that were not selected for inclusion. The New Testament is a collection of writings made after the crusifiction of Jesus. There were hundreds of books written about Jesus and his teachings. Some, the Gospels, told the story of Jesus. The others were essays expressing the beliefs of early christians or books of instructions on how to live a life as Jesus would had wanted. These writings were judged by “the church” to determine which would be included in the Bible. Of course, only the writings that agreed with the beliefs of those in power at the time were included.
The Bible speaks of the existence of angels and identifies Satan as a fallen angel. Other writings tell us of a war in which many of the angels were expelled from heaven. It was these fallen angels that Lilith mated with . Her children were demons and other evil creatures.
November 4th, 2009 at 2:39 am
dont get me wrong…where did you hear this one…ever since i hav ent encountered that name(lilith)
November 4th, 2009 at 2:22 pm

November 6th, 2009 at 2:06 pm
This is amazing wow i nver knew this
November 17th, 2009 at 7:00 pm
From Islam the Quran also discusses in detail beings made from smokeless fire (aka Djinn)when man was made from dust. Now as I understand it these beings were never meant to live in the same dimension as humans but like us they make their own choices so some crossed over and live among us sometimes as us but most of the time as other animals – they apparently have the power to influence us sometimes for the better and other times for the worse as they can be either good or evil.
I’ve never encountered so much information on these beings other than from the Quran – it has several chapters deicated to their existance. Too much to divulge here but its worth investigating.
I’m not sure until I see something I can validate it with – this includes all of the above and vampires. I have always found all mythical beings interesting because I think all myths are based on some truth.
November 19th, 2009 at 5:05 am
Caretaker,
Thanx for this amazing site only for vampire stuff….
n also thanx for putting pictures in story.
November 19th, 2009 at 9:37 am
Why is it abrahamic faiths think they are the start to everything. This is just 1 “creation” myth no more and no less valid than the other 100 or so vampyre creation myths.
This is an asumption made by the author that is probally christian or raised on christianity. There are many more vampire creation myths that are just as valid. To use the abrahamic one as the one and true origin myth is pure speculation.
November 19th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Celtic Druid
I suggest that you take a second look at Chetans article here. He did not state or even infer that “abrahamic one as the one and true origin myth”.
November 20th, 2009 at 4:17 am
I think that the fact that the vampire “myth” is apparently birthed out of any religion at all is fascinating in and of itself. I myself have no faith in any religion and I don’t believe in any “god.” I don’t need a religion to know what’s in my heart and what I want for my life. certainly no religion ever did more than confuse and oppress me so I’m done with all that nonsense long ago. even reading through all this and seeing religion’s role in it further cements my thoughts about it.
Note from Admin: Read the rest of Evie’s comment at The Vampire Myth
November 20th, 2009 at 6:02 am
Vamp Truth,
It is implied, due to presenting only one mythos as the origin. It stated that Cain was the first vamp. Now according to many other myths that is not true. He presented it as fact. He states “According to vampire legend…” this is just one of many. He makes it sound as it is the authoritave legend and the only true one. The only point I was trying to make is this myth is but 1 of hundreds that are just as valid.
November 20th, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Celtic Druid, I do agree with you “this myth is but 1 of hundreds that are just as valid” I was just saying that the writer did not present or imply that this is the one and only truth. If you would like to write a bit about some of the other myths I would be very glad to publish it here.

How did vampire truth become the copyright owner of this article? It was written a few years ago, and it was not written by this web siste. IF I were you, I would remove your fraudelnt copyright from this article, and provide the authentic copyright holders information upon it, or you are looking at potential plagiarism and intellectual property infringement charges. You can not just copy and paste someone else’s work and stamp your copyright on it. Just telling your for your own good. It’s a nice site, and I would hate to see it suffer as a result of such a oversight.

Darren, a copyright notice is placed on all articles submitted here. If the writer provides their full name then they are listed as copyright holder, if sent in anonymously then the articles/stories are listed as Copyright VampireTruth.
We do not copy and paste anything from anywhere! All these articles and stories are sent in by our readers. This particular one was sent in by Chetan and when I check it with Copyscape.com it shows no copies anywhere else on the net. If you or anyone else should find a problem then I would appreciate your letting me know but there is no need to make accusations. And just saying it was copied from somewhere else without telling me where, or by whom it was originally written really doesnt give me any info.

I thought Lilith was a succubus not a vampire. Ive also read that many people believe she is the reason behind wet dreams and SIDS.

You Know What If You Want To Know who is The Real First Vampire is. He Is Vampirys Creature Of Darkness whom Feeds On Both Humans and Animal’s Blood and He is The One who Has Bitten Cain and Lilith and Gave Them Immortality and Powers.
There are No God Or Heaven or Hell, But There has Been Vampires Just We have Destroyed Them and We Humans are a Lot More Worse Than Vampires and Demons
Myths Of Vampires Fear of Crucifix, Garlic and Holy Water are 100% Lies , First Elder Vampires Could have Walk when Sunlight is and Dracula is Far More Powerful That He Cannot Die and No Stakes Or Sun Could Kill Him, Vampires are also Not Romantic Type, Who Ever Made This Review Is wrong

Dracula,
Please for the love of all that is decent request to have your last statement deleted, it looks so foolish, you cannot even begin to comprehend what you are talking about. This is a myth or legend if you will, it is meant to explain what otherwise could not be explained at that time just like ancient Greece with their gods, you just have to accept that there are things in this world that nobody may ever see or know of in their lifetime, things that have been forgotten due to time or because it was forced upon people to forget. but you, you have made a statement of sheer stupidity.

there are many myths to vampires and in today’s world books, and movies have market vampires has these great and wonderful glittering, subduction. But that’s face the facts if vampires were real they would look what we call zombies, i have done many many research on this and look up a lot of culture history many of those myth ’s all start the same talking about demons like for example Chinese culture believes that if someone dies and an animal like cat or dog jumped over there body that a demon would take over the body and the would be come a “vampire.” i do believe the story of Lilith but a point, do i believe that their are vampires out there now, i would be nice to think but i would have to say no, its nice to dream that beings would be but some of us need to wake up and face the facts,
The whole thing about holy water and places, garlic, wood stakes, are history facts of early Christianity out of fear that the church created, hell today if this was still going on we all be doom to hell, the Romanian church believed that if a person was born with a caul, extra nipple, extra hair, born to early, if a black cat crossed a mothers path, born with a tail, born out of wedlock, died an unnational death, or died before baptism, the child of a pregnant woman who did not eat salt, or who was looked at by a “witch or “vampire” were all doomed to be cast as a vampire, also the church would distributed garlic in order to see who didn’t eat it,. Graves were often opend three years after the death of a child, fives years after the death of a young person, or seven years after the death of an adult to check for vampirism.
but this is my point the persians believe in “blood demons” but it all goes back to demons and demons were created but a church that was all screwed up in there holy world to get people afraid of them and to take land

Okay freinds I have seen many interesting things written here both about Cain and about Lilith as for spme about the city Cain built. The city itself is mentioned and named in the old testement, in Genisis even. It speaks of Cain’s city and says it was called Enoch after his son. Now as to Lilith although left mostly out of the modren christian bible, in old Hebrew lore she was indeed Adams first wife kicked out because she would not submit to him, well actually she fled to the Red Seed where she consorted with demons., and refused to return to Adam so Yewah created Eve in her place out of Adams own rib so that she would be more submissive. The only trace left ofthe two creation myths in the modren bible is the fact that in the first creation he fashioned man and women at the same time in his own image. Then later in Genisis it speaks of the seprate creation of man and women. Look it up its all true.

wikipedia says: LILITH; A FEMALE MESOAMIA N STORM DEMON ASSOCIATED WITH WIND AND WAS THOUGHT TO BE BEARER OF DISEASE.
Just helpin out
February 9th, 2010 at 2:13 am
The figure of Lilith first appeared in a class of wind and storm demons or spirits as lilitu, 4000BC.Lilith appears as a night demon in jewish lore, and as a screech owl in Isaiah. In the king james version lilith is the name of adams first wife.
Lilith’s epithet was “the beautiful maiden” she was described as having no milk in her breasts and unable to bear children.
Babylonian texts depict Lilith as the “prostitute” of the Goddess Ishtar.
Her house sinks down to death
And her course leads to the shades
All who go to her cannot return
And find again the paths of life
Proverbs 2:18-19
Her gates are gates of death, and from the entrance of the house she sets out toward Sheol.
None of those who enter there will ever return
And all who possess her will descend to the pit.

Genesis 2:18 “it is not good for man to be alone”. He then created a woman for Adam, from the earth, as he had created adam, and called her Lilith.
They immediatly started to fight. She was to be the superior one , and would not submit to Adam. They would not listen to eachother, she pronounced the ineffable name and flew away into the air.
Adam stood in prayer before his creator `sovereign of the universe!’ He said the woman you gave me has run away.”
The holy one sent these three angels after her. Senoy, Sansenoy, and Semangelof. “If she comes back willingly all will be good if not she must permitt 100 of her children to die every day.
They found her at the red sea. She did not wish to return. The angels said “We will drown you in the sea”.
“Leave me !” She said “I was created only to cause sickness to infants. If the infant is male, I have dominion over him for 8 days after birth, and if female, for 20 days!”
When the Angels heard Lilith’s words, they insisted she go back.
But she swore to them by the living and the eternal God: `Whenever I see you, your names, or your forms on an amulet, I will have no power over that infant.”
She also agreed to have 100 of her children die every day. Every day 100 demons parish, and for the same reason, we write the Angels’names on the amulets of small children. When Lilith sees thier names, she remembers her oath, and the child recovers.
This was the story about Lilith being Adam’s first wife. Very interesting stuff, just hold on and I have the other version as well.(After Eve)

hei all, i really found this site interesting…but one thing…is there vampires or not? nobody seems to know the answer. there has to be a starting point if there is a legend. all legends have starting points. and if there is a basis why is it only in certain countries? im from south africa and have seriously never heard of anything here.
February 24th, 2010 at 12:35 am
The vampire legend has existed in various cultures since antiquity. In the past 250 years, the active belief in vampires has been generally confined to the peoples of Eastern Europe. ….if u want read folklore in south africa read “Speaking with Vampires Rumor and History in Colonial Africa” by Luise White..its quite interesting one….

That’s crazzy about Lilith but I never of her any where or in the bible where the whole story of god is in. Even if there were vampires ill be ready to fight them anyway.
