Through the Eyes of a Vampire
Vampirism is a disease unlike any other it feels unnatural and has properties that make themselves manifest physically even before the transition. Vampirism is a mutation of a disease much like a combination of Poryphic Hemophilia and Rabies, but yet, it isn’t during the first stage of the disease contraction (1 of 3), the body feels tired constantly and weak much like that of a cold or flu. At stage 2 the skin becomes pale slowly until almost white, at this point the victim is highly vulnerable to anything sharp even a cut could kill them as the blood is so thinned, and at stage 3 the victim goes into a deathlike sleep for 2 days or more (it is different for some people, for me it was 2 days) after which the person awakens feeling hungry but the most remarkable part about that first waking breathe is hearing the world come alive in an array of sounds and smells unlike nothing anyone could ever experience in this lifetime. Of course the new vampire is going to find food only to realize normal food is almost toxic, it induces vomiting and dizziness. Consume too much of it and death by throat muscle constriction is almost immanent. After that if they haven’t discovered they are vampires they will because you are immune to sunlight like a normal person for about 18 hours so once they start feeling their skin starting to tingle and then sting they start piecing it together. After that they usually find somewhere remote or rarely looked to hide until dusk, vampires have an innate ability to sense other vampires so they will most likely seek one out for shelter as I did, once found they are usually housed outside the coven or community for a few months (I lived outside for almost 2 years) living on their own while they adapt to their affliction. Once the coven decides to accept them, they are asked to move into it and are told the rules of the coven:
General Rules of any Coven:
Rule 1: Never feed on humans unless you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO
Rule 2: Never compromise the coven or community
Rule 3: Avoid public feeding
Rule 4: No outsiders are allowed to see the coven
Aside from these 4 most important rules each coven may vary in the next set of rules depending. A coven is a community of vampires and is more of a hierarchy than a democracy the highest vampire in the coven is the “elder” vampire and that means he or she is the oldest, wisest and strongest of everyone, there are others like him but the elder is elected based on his or her leadership skills. If the coven feels that one or more of their members are threatening the covens existence action may be taken and depending on the offence it can result in death or exile lasting anywhere from 10 to 300 years, if in the case the result is death it could be done 1 of 3 ways:
1. Death by beheading.
2. Death by the members of the coven drinking them dry. (being sucked dry of blood)
3. Death by impaling.
These punishment were learned and brought into effect from different cultures over the years. During the event of an exile the vampire is assigned a place in the world to live usually a place with no other vampires around and the exile is regulated by other vampires from time to time in the sense of “house calls.”
Vampires can be made by choice also known as humans wanting to be infected with the disease, or by breeding as humans do. If a vampire is conceived by breeding it will more than likely not have the pale skin so it will be able to travel in the daytime. If a person is bitten, they will experience the side effects mentioned above at the start. Since being bitten was already described I will go with the breeding, when vampires mate it has a rare chance less than that of a human to conceive a child, and in the event a child is going to be born it is carried within the mother for around 15 months after which the mother gives birth to a egglike cocoon, which is then either buried or put in the coven undercroft for 15 additional months, after that it is taken out and after a day usually a new baby vampire is born, it is a very weird process if I do say so myself, and when a human and a vampire mate it is usually a normal human birth but the child will have no visible vampiric properties other than longevity and superior senses like smell and hearing.
A vampire must feed to remain alive but they are not allowed to feed on humans unless it is absolutely necessary, instead they are urged to feed on animals like cattle, sheep, or pigs to name a few, and some vampires bring packs of blood like those used in hospitals for blood transfusions.
Closing Notes:
Vampires are not people who like to stand out and be noticed in public.
Vampires are social and calm but can have a very short temper.
Vampires are not beasts or demons or anything to be afraid of remember they were once human too.
Vampire society is highly secretive usually in plain sight but not obvious.

that’s pretty cool to read.. I’m not sure if I believe in vampires or not, still, but the read really did get me thinking and open my mind a little more, and for that I thank you. I do have a question tho. Do you think you will go to heaven or hell when you die (are beheaded, etc), how do you die if not killed, and do you believe in an afterlife at all? And do you believe in an afterlife for your kind? Just curious.. I’m very interested in this.
So not only sunlight and wooden stakes kill vampires but ham sandwiches and Froot Loops are also fatal to them. Oh and why is it that you’d be here telling us this when these vampires are supposedly hiding from the human world?

Amatrix the title comparison is no coincidence, I am a vampire and I do not know what awaits me after death, immortality only means there is no limit on my age. I became a vampire when I was nearing my 21st birthday, I went to a night club/bar and met this beautiful girl, I offered her a drink and we got to talking eventually I walked her home and when we got there I passed out for some reason… When I awoke I felt the sensation of the first stage and a pain in my neck (no surprise there).
Ah yes the inevitable why would you tell us question, I am telling you because chances are you will never see a vampire in the real world and if I tell you on the internet it doesn’t make much of a difference.

I don’t believe in vampires. It’s very interesting but I stick with what I believe.
But people do have a desease that drives them to (in the 1800s) drink blood. It causes the person to have very pale, almost transparent, complection because they can’t go outside. But the idea of vampires came from Vlad the Impaler. He was thursty for blood like my teacher said. A writer at the time was in Transylvania and had hurd a lot about this horrible man. So he had made up the idea of the first Dracula story.
That’s what I believe.
So vampires can live for thousands of years and die if they are in direct sunlight?

Fascinating article…I’ve only recently thought about vampires outside of the stereotype that I grew up thinking.
I’m not here to say whether this claim is true or not….just that it is obvious you know quite a bit on this subject. Forgive me if you’ve already said this somewhere else, as I haven’t read everything in here yet…..but were you interested at all in vampires before this happened to you? Or has it only been since then that you have come to know these things? I’m wondering what attitudes there were about vampires in the later 1800′s….and it doesn’t seem like you were given a choice….isn’t there something a bit unethical about that?

Yes, Vampires can die from sunlight assuming they weren’t made from vampire/human relationships, though the sunlight doesn’t make them sparkle like in twilight which was utterly horrible and butchered vampires completely.
A vampire can stay in sunlight for a maximum of 5 mins before burning to death, and it isn’t a fiery death it is because the skin gets scorched and blood starts to boil from the burning heat.

It just seems because you must live in “secrecy” that it would be lonely. Do you interact with “mortals” (for lack of a better word) and if you do, isn’t it hard to constantly develop relationships only to see them end. I just read your article and to be quite honest, it seems unreal that I found something that is a reality that films, myths and folklore state isn’t.

I do interact with humans and I do not looka day over 24, It is like I age once every 40 years, And it is better to be lonely than to have a relationship and see it end.
I do not drink human blood unless I am somewhere other blood sources aren’t available, I do not have a wife and I would only give people the choice to become a vampire if I liked them enough and it is always a choice, but sadly your immune system often rejects the disease so that is the main reason I do not have a spouse and I am 148 and it seems like forever the most painful part of my existence was having to watch from the shadows as everyone I knew died… I sat back and watched the life I knew fade into nothingness…
And J, vampires are allover the world in many places and sometimes even in plain sight though, some things are not what they appear a cellar in a department store could very well be a hidden entrance into a coven but I will not be any more specific than that.
Anonymous vampires do not exactly show good on film, it appears abstract and you can’t really make much of it even if I did take a photo of myself.

It took a lot of guts to come into the light so to speak. Especially considering you are apart of an old world coven. It is true that we all have different stories and different experiences. Sadly yours was a truely painful one, while mine was never even known to me. To me it was everyday life. You know it was just the way it was. Yes, the elders would surely have me killed for it… they know where the spot of my exile is, since you know me, what do you suggest? If they do decide it will be during the daytime which gives me about 3-5 days before they raid my exile to kill me, IF they rule to do so, it is hard to tell because I was a main source of their information.

That is ridiculous, why would I delete a comment because I know you are right? Why would you think that I would have to agree with every comment? This website is actually a community and as such there are lots of different opinions and viewpoints. In the future please do not call people names or your comments WILL be removed. Yes I understand people who are saying you can make yourself believe anything. When it comes to the brain power I’m the one usually telling all my friends that you can make yourself sick or even pregnant if you believe truly that you are.
But seriously, you can tell if a person is an amateur vampire, or a real one.
Do you see many people staring across a football field glued to somebody that they don’t even know but can’t release the stare.
Or even do you see your best friend completely zoned out but there’s ten thousand things going on, and they just have a different look than before in their eyes?? (something like that, that’s a hard example to explain)
I believe they are real, and when i read the words “they aren’t real” the only words jumping in my head without even reacting or expecting them to cross are “HA seriously you think so.”

That is a possibility. Once a human has been changed they have a tendancy to bury the life they had as a human and they forget everything up until someone forces them to remember. That maybe why his story is inconsistant.

You said that you watched from the shadows, that would mean that you never had a real relationship with these people cause, you had to break off contact once, they started to get older and you didn’t, and is all of this happening in the U.S. or in Europe? This is more like that Brad Pitt movie, where he tells his story of how he became a vampire to the journalist. I don’t believe you, but I’ll give you credit for imagination!
P.S. rule # 3 of the coven, says avoid public feeding, what if you can’t avoid it!

The American Civil War (1861–1865), also known as the War Between the States and several other names, was a civil war in the United States of America. Eleven Southern slave states declared their secession from the U.S. , etc.
Anyway, my question is … Were you by any chance an African Slave, or African American Slave, at that time? Were you perhaps a White Slave Owner? Were you a Soldier in the War?
If you were truly living at that date and time, then this all would mean that you experienced it all, (because you were actually a part of that life time) and you saw it all first hand!
I’m very interested in The “American Civil War”, or any History, for that matter. But to
actually meet someone who really lived through it all, and who is yet alive to this date!

I was never in the states during that period, I was in a different part of the world, I came to the states in 1976 if you must know, so I never actually experienced the war, sorry for the dissapointment.

A vampire would need enough blood to fill a thermus, a vampire can go for 4 days without feeding, we also die of starvation too, animal blood is all I have ever known, and to Karen M, rule 3 has only one exception, and that is when there is no other source of sustinence around.
Also Karen, everyone I knew or loved thought I was kidnapped after they couldn’t find me I was presumed dead, so I watched from afar as my loved ones gre old and died the most painful part was watching my two sibling die aswell.

I find it very sad about the life you would have to live… regarding geogirl and the questions she had, i’m sure living in the shadows, feeding off of animals is stressful, not knowing how and when you are going to die (not to mention IF) and also what happens after your death, if anything. I wouldn’t be too concerned about a home, car, and all that. I would still be in shock.. Yes, even after more than 100 years living with rare aging, and all that comes with vampirism, I would still be in shock and in a pretty constant state of depression…..i hope you’re not, Xavier…

My work is during the day, I do not need a car nor want one, my work is from home, I do not fly or swing from trees, my place of birth would be Cottbus Germany, it is almost on the border of Poland, and on a side note vampires are not “demons” or “evil” they are just people who have been stricken with a disease that has rarely been seen and probably never been studied, we are still people so I would just shun it when the church says we are condemned to hell for being foul beasts in truth it isn’t for them to decide it is for God and ourselves.

I thought that you were because of how close your story was to his, but once you had insulted me I thought to seek out my friend. It’s always good to have a healthy dose of skeptism, eitherwise every sound is a ghost, every sick person is a vampire and every animal mauling in the news is a werewolf attack.
Time and time again has shown us that following Occams Razor, the simplest explanation is always the answer, has been beneficial to our psychological evolution. Getting away from the belief that disease is caused by vampirism has led us to medical explanations.
I’m not saying that i outright don’t believe in vampires but i severely question when somebody comes on here claiming to be one. I talk about it in this article.

They say they don’t want to reveal themselves because of people wanting to hurt or conduct experiments on them, but the people who have the resources to do that would obviously have the resources to find them and if these people are what they say they are, they’d know that.

I think you’re seeing what you want to see in those clips. It’s called pixelation, a pattern appears on the footage that wasn’t there when shot. Our eyes like to look for things familiar and when it sees the pixelation, it looks for something familiar that actually isn’t there.

oh guys….really, hes full of crap. Why indulge him with questions? Meow is right. He is making claims like “sunlight burns vampires” when really that notion was invented relatively recent in books such as Dracula.
The actual myths about vampires (first ones originated in ethiopia) never stated such things. Of course, the myth varies from culture to culture, but it has’nt been up until the late century that vampires have been considered “beautiful”, concious and “powerful”.
The original accounts never mentioned that vampires were “human like”. They weren’t ever supposed to be attractive!
Its because of books like Twilight and television shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer that modern media has accepted the idea that vampires are seductive creatures, and tortured lonely souls….they are socially construcable really. And some people cannot distinguish reality from fantasy or fathom their boundaries…

What I mean’t by “not humanlike” was that they didn’t actually look like humans. They were deceased loved ones who came alive a night to stalk the living. They never “walked” during the day. That notion was created by Bram Stroker.
They were pretty mindless too, they looked and acted more like zombies according to the earliest accounts from Mesopotamia and Ethiopia. Look it up! its actually pretty interesting.

I have read the entire thread of your post, and found it to be extremeley interesing. I am not a skeptic. I do believe there are and have always been vampires. The bible itself tells of Lilith, Adam’s first wife created of red clay and such. She was banashed and punished after she refused to lay beneath Adam and be a submissive good little wife. I am not religious but I know my religion from when I was younger and forced to. I am now an athiest with no shame in that. I recently have been posting to another forum that dis-credits what I believe in, or should I say am looking for or seeking out. Yes, from reading your posts I am aware of the risks, and the possiblity that it may not even happen. But I will always search for one, my desire is too strong. What you are refering to is just a passage that uses the original word “lilith”. It is a fascinating passage and it does give the idea that “lilith” was known but it doesnt say all that you said in your quotes.

I wanted to know where the Bible said those things. The word “lilith” in the original and tranlsated to “scopes owl” doesnt tell the story you described.
Yes this is true that Lilith is mentioned only once in our Bible, but as you can see there is more detailed mention of her creation and what she is in the hebrew Bible. Christianity wants you to believe that Eve was the 1st but she wasn’t. Anyways this isn’t what this discussion started about and I preffer not to linger on it. I was just using it as a refference that vampires have existed for as far back as the bible, to the best of my knowledge.

jennieboo, I believe there is good and bad things in life, and I leave it at that. I don’t have “a” God I believe in because there are just far too many religions and they all think they are right and all they do is fight. Even people of the same faith will fight with one another over scriptures and what they are supposed to be doing in the name of “God”. That does not mean that I worship many gods, don’t get that statement wrong please. I go about my life without religion and it works for me. Lilith doesn’t appear in Genesis, and the only biblical reference to this mystery woman is a single line in Isaiah that mentions her as a female demon. A Canaanite demon called Lilitu, who tormented men, may have inspired the Hebrew Lilith. This demon has been traced back even further to Babylonian mythology.
The Lilith demon was later depicted as a slayer of infants and women in pregnancy and childbirth. She came out at night and drank human blood. Sound familiar? Lilith may have been the first vampire, predating Count Dracula by thousands of years.

Adamaris, you are entiteled to your opinion, though foolish you may think I am I asisure I you I know what am asking for and what I am getting myself into. You may believe it to be a “fad”, but I have for as long as I can remember, far beyond Twilite, and many other vampire movies before it my yurning desire is real. You truly don’t, and I hope you never do. To be alone and to seclude yourself are different. To be alone and yet loved is different to wanting to love but being alone with no one. You will never understand that till you suffer it, and even now I cannot explain it clearly.You are enticed by the yearning to be different, to be something strange and mysterious and it is foolish. You have a comfortable life, do not end with it in ruins.
You are also incredibly selfish, to cut yourself, how would your family or friends feel, while you still have them. Then to even try to die, are you insulting your parents? To be something ‘different’ you have to be strong, independent and also sometimes cruel. Nevertheless trying to take your own life is in itself weak. The weak will not last long and thus even changing physically you will still be weak. Become strong, and live life, physical form should not hinder that child. Even depersonalization, if life goes before you then follow it and find yourself within it, so do not hurt others in your wake.
Since you have heard of vampire’s you want to be one, but what about the ‘other’ things that are out there. Would you be so willing then? or is it due to literature and yearning for that state.
You want to be something so different when you cannot already sort your existing life out. Adamaris, you speak as if you too are a vampire. And regaudless of what you think, I do know what I want. I am alone, I don’t want love and never really have. As for a comforatable life, you are again sadly mistaken. I can’t work due to any injury on the job that left me disabled with nerve damage to my spine that can not be repaired. I am in pain every day of my life both physical and emotional. My disabilty has rendered me unable to have sex, do everyday activities, exercise, or even walk without the use of a cane. And in some cases I must use a wheelchair. So, don’t dair to claim that I live a comfortable life for you do not know me. As for calling me a child, unless you are a vampire and you are hundreds of years of age or an elderly person, just to let you know I happen to 36 years old. Now in regaurds to my cutting myself, while I am doing it I am in another state of mind, which is why I explained that I suffer from Depersonalisation Dissociative Disorder. It is not something I merely chose to do in my regular state of mind, it occurs when I black out and seperate myself from my mind according to my psyciatrist. So, as far as being “selfish” for my self inflicted wounds, I don’t know how else to respond to you on that note. Just that in the future I hope before you go calling people names or critisizing them, that you will learn a little bit more about them first before you speak. Now when I attempted to take my own life, since you abviously need more information for your crucial analysis of me, I was raped by two men. I was young and under the enfluence of alchohol. Between the shame, the nightmares and the emotional and physical pain it brought me i coudn’t take it. So there, call me weak! I was too weak to fight off the S.O.B’s that put me through that and I was weak to relive that hellish nightmare day and night! I’ll say it again, before you belittle, ridicule or chose to give unwanted ugly opinions about someone, you really should do your homework and get to know them a little better first. I want to add, I don’t really like to talk about my life, but 3 years ago my mom had cancer of the throat after having a tumor removed, they found a dime sized spot in her lung, where they removed a piece of her lung, today they haven’t detected any cancer at all, her tests came back clear, she put up one heck of a fight, I know what you went through wasn’t easy and is no more with your disability, but surely there must be things or people in your life to make you want to live, life is so fragile. Grandmothers search the desert for shards of pottery once formed, fired, used, and then discarded. They grind the old shards into powder. The potters then mix the old powder with unfired new. Words can often convey a deeper meaning than its simple text that lies before you, it is like a fruit with the seeds lying only within. Time changes people in various ways, and people always want what they cannot have, it is a normal occurence. By this I mean that in regards to being alone you may feel comfortable however when in a state that when you desire some sort of any close company and it fails, that is being truly alone.
To be in physical and mental pain requires time to heal however humans are able to adapt. There is always some one else, somewhere far worse but it is how you choose to deal with it. Find strength in your weakness and then adapt with it, even though it may be hard and you may feel no one can help you sometimes your greatest foe is yourself. I am not directing this comment at you but rather as a general to anyone.
By comfortable, we appear to have different definitions of it. My comfortable is in regards to the fact that when you are lonely you can seek company if you so wish, if you are hungry you can go out and get food easily, if you are tired or cold you can sleep in a warm bed. By comfortable it is merely the fact you can live as you are. Fear can render the bravest heart motionless.
36 years is still a child in my view, sorry if you do not like that but it is ones own opinion. I do not sport a wrinkled visage or lack of physical abilities and therefore I would not term myself as the elderly.
The reason I called you selfish is a part of my own experience, so it can be thought of as displaced annoyance. I knew someone with the same ‘habits’ and I watched as it destroyed her closest friend. If she had found a piece of glass or a pair of scissors it was extremely traumatic for the other to the point both were in the same boat. Personally blood is sticky and it gets everywhere, it also can take a while to stop and so spilling it un necessarily is not on my agender.
I can only know from what you tell me and I respond from what I see before me. Like I had said, in the past watching in particular two different more recent events it has caused me to be some what bitter to suicide and cutting. In my view both of the events, the circumstances for it to begin with, were not that bad and that made me even more annoyed to see people recklessly destroying other peoples lives just because they were concerned about themselves. Once again not directed at you but this is from what I have had and it can influence. I was more remembering the memory so it may sound bitter but the comment is like I said not at you.
I unfortunately value my pride far greater than most but I will say I should have had more tact when responding because not all circumstances are the same. Just after a while they seem that way.
Most people have skeletons in their closet and some have had experiences that can destroy them internally, I do not claim to understand what you have been through but I do know that your actions afterwards define you. Mental strength can sometimes overcome physical and do not forget that. I can some what understand you would have been heavily scarred and it would have been something beyond a nightmare but as I say this you are not alone. There are always others like you in which you can seek comfort from. You have to learn to let go of things. A past no matter how painful can be an experience that you learn from and make you into who you are.
An opinion is an opinion, you can ignore it or dwell on it, you tell me I respond. I am not one for pretty meaningless words that just show sympathy. Thank you for taking the time and undoubtedly deep thought into our ongoing discussion with your response. I felt it to be quite interesting to say the least. I greatly appreciate that you do see and acknowledge that it takes more than reading just a few sentences or passages in a post from an unknown individual before passing your judgment upon them, or giving the idea that you know them or what their life is and was. Yes, everyone has the right to their opinion and I value and respect yours. I am truly sorry to hear of what you had to bear witness to with your dear friend and her friend’s “habits’. Now, what small amount of information about my life and horrible things I have had to endure was only provided to you just to give ‘little’ bit of background information explaining to you why I had taken attempts upon my life, for you said I was “weak” for doing so. The portion of where I spoke of my cutting myself is in NO way intended to influence Anyone to do such a thing. My inflictions are due to a Clinical Dissociative Disorder.
For anyone that reads my posts, PLEASE , I am not wishing that upon anyone, and if they are doing it I suggest they seek professional help just as I am. Now when it comes to “skeletons in my closet”, you could set up a Halloween factory there. The thing is, my skeletons are out and running around. I mean that in two ways; 1. Trying to make light humor out of the darkness( hope you see the sarcastic humor in that) 2. I share everything with my Psychiatrists and chose not to hold on to them, or else would I have shared one of the deepest darkest moments of my past with you and all who read this? You say “Mental strength can sometimes overcome physical and do not forget that”. As does the sword of a blade slices both ways, sometimes the physical pain can just be so unbearable that your mental strength can not always overcome or at least be the dominant. I am more than aware that I am not alone in what I have been through, but I do not chose to seek out other rape victims and have get-togethers or tea parties or share stories, just as I know that there are many more women just like me that feel the same way. I have dealt with that issue & do with my doctor and that’s the last I will say of it. What happened to me or at least that one specific thing has not made me who I am. I am a collaboration of many things just as everyone else that walks this earth. For all I know, I was made in a Petri dish by some outta this world aliens and dropped off as some kind of experience gone terribly wrong. Oops, there goes that really bad since of humor I have. That was sincerely not meant to be rude, I was trying to be humorous.

Bleedme, I think he is just a teenager making up twilight fantasies, I’m glad that you don’t regret anything that you posted here. I know my words were probably meaningless to you and probably something that you’ve already heard a million times before. I can honestly say that I have never been in a situation like yours, so who am I to try and give advice. I think everyone going through that would have a different reaction, we’re not all alike, so no one can judge you for the things that you do, and it’s not fair for you for us to try and play pshycologists here, I don’t think anyone is condeming you or judging you, I think we all had good intentions. I hate to say this, for I truly don’t want to dash your hopes, but I think you are right about Xavier. I think he is just some teenager that wanted to play vampire. I still don’t know if I believe or not that there are true vampires and not just the goth kids that role-play – remember years back when dungeons and dragons was all the rage and we had wizards and other mythical creatures “battleing” it out? But I do know this, I hope you find what you are looking for – not matter what that is. All we can ever hope for in life is one thing – contentment.
I think that it is really sad that the author of this story has not responed to bleedme’s questions, she is probably the only one among us who really believed his story. I think that it is unfair to take advantage of people that are going through emotional turmoil , maybe she just wanted a friend, someone to talk to because she feels so isolated too, someone to connect with, I don’t think that is fair to her nor did i EVER BELIEVE THAT XAVIER WAS A VAMPIRE! That could be one way of looking at it, but I refer to something far different that are considered above the norm, the norm in this case are including ghosts and vampires etc.

I don’t think it, I know it to be for every night without explanation my bed shakes as if someone is jumping on it. There is a noise is the room that sounds like someone breathing with severe difficulty. Items are thrown about in the room, and the vcr sometimes comes on and it is not plugged in. Also, it gets freezing cold in there when these things happen. It never occurs outside of the bedroom. When these things do occur, I feel paralyzed, but not afraid. You and anyone else can discredit me if you wish to do so for it is your right. But I’m the one that has to live with it. I am merely giving you a straight answer, which obviously is something you are not capable of doing.

I preffer not to expose to all on the internet my most deepest intimate grusome moments in life that have happened to me. It is far to personal and is confident left between myself and my psyciatrist. I only spoke of me being raped to deffend myself against previous posts. I will post something else though.
For as long as I can recall it has been my deepest desire to encounter upon a true vampire. I lust and long for the mystery behind the true being whether it be a “demonic” form or an attractive seductive male or female. I believe with all my soul that vampires do exist. I am not referring to the people who say they draw energy or drink an ounce of blood from their friends because they need it to survive. I have a hard time believing that vampires spend time on the internet searching for a wiling bloodletter, at least certainly not the kind of vampire I succumb to. But here I am regardless. In my minds eye and heart & soul, my vision of a vampire is a mixture of being tempting, hypnotizing my intelligent, fast, frightening, maybe sexy or beastly, and powerful. But more than anything I see them drawing your pain away when you surrender to them. I believe them to be merciful, compassionate, vicious, dominate, and vigorous. I will never give up my search to find one. That is not to say that my desire surfaces from movies or books. So. if anyone that reads this and knows, and I mean seriously knows a way in which they can help me, please respond. I’m not playing some kind of role play game or anything of the sort. I have a true desire and passion to come face to face with a real live “dead” vampire. I freely value all comments and opinions whether positive or negative. My committed search will never end. I’m sure it is way past your bed time, so I do not expect to get a response from you right away. That is of course you are across the world in England or somewhere else where it is now day time ( assuming you are a vampire, though I doubt) as you would have me believe through your lovely “cryptic” words. I was just pondering on a thought of the grammar in which you speak, and it has been itching at me something terribly. You speak in such a way as in characters in films of elder vampires. I am baffled by this because professional people that study vampires for a living and thinking logically, one would think that you would speak like people of this day and age so to be more understandable in your words. Not only to be more understandable, but you stick out like a sore thumb. Ah, but then again maybe that is what you were going for? I have stated in my posts that I am a believer in vampires. Karen told me about what was going on with this thread, as i have avoided it lately because i think at times it has become ridiculous with the claims of being a vampire. Like i’ve said before, if people claim they are vampires, why are they on the computer all the time? There’s also numerous other things that i could write here, but i really don’t want to waste my time.
The thing which bothers me is that you are willing things that are evil into your life like vampires and i strongly suspect that this is why you are experiencing these nightly incidents. You are attracting evil. It also bothers me that these people who claim to be vampires are causing you to do this and it is wrong.
The internet and stories like these influence people and can lead them into occult ways and thoughts.
You seem like an inteligent person who I hope will stop with these thoughts and wishes to see a vampire. What you will do is continue to attract evil, the evidence of this is what you are experiencing nightly. I hope you will stop all these thoughts before you end up with something in your life you cannot get rid of. I once had a near possession from something very evil, so i know what can happen. I wish that the people who are continuing to claim they are vampires will finish with this stupidity and selfish desire for attention as it is now getting out of hand and is influencing people.

This is so boring. Out of all the stories this is the one everyone comments on? Vampires are boring. For people that are looking for vampires to exist just read your history books, vampires are just extremely new (and yes a thousand years is new, relatively speaking). I remember being a child and reading anne rice and all the rumors about it being a real interview. I remember expecting vampires to also live like lost boys but it has become too sensational.
What I really really don’t get is the desire to be one. Well thats not true very few people in the world are healthy. It’s an escape from life, from responsibility but when you grow up you realize you just don’t have time to escape.

I find your research, or learning of ‘vampire’ (vampir, vampyre) to be well in tact. I see you must have spent much time learning of the vast cultures that all share their own beliefs and history of tales that date back as far back as the existance of this rock we live on. Wisdom is always a wonderful thing to share and much appreciated by most. I could not agree more with you that the modern day vampire puts themselves at a huge risk for a wide variety of disease and illnesses. I have been in chat room on forums where people claim to be modern day born or turned vampires. I have have listened to these individauls tell me that they drink only the blood of thier close friends, to ensure that they won’t become ill. I find it ignorant to think such for even a friend can be HIV positive and not know it, or have some other disease. I use the word ignorant for it’s definition not to imply stupidity, but mean mean ‘not to know or to not have knowledge of’. The people that I speak with and claim to be modern day vampires also have informed me that they do not want blood, but need it for survival, and only require an ounce to be exact. If you have more information on vampires you wish to share of litature as far as research go I would be very interested to see it.

I assure you that I am not Xavier, never was and nor do I intend to portray him, and in fact if I think over my previous posts, not one words of mine has been a lie. Believe that as you wish but it is true.
This ghost, I have a few ideas, as I have not seen what you see nor can I discredit it I would say it could actually be very real, or it may be a waking nightmare (I think this is its correct term), or simply your fascination with dark matters may delve into your unconcious. I am not trying to immediately put it down but these are also possible theories, of which I know have happened to people.
I have seen a few people mentioning of my strange answers. I am specific as I give an answer to your direct question, I am cryptic as my answers may be a little harder to find within its context. I am just very careful with my words, only an idiot would say everything all in the open for all to hear just to give a few people a few answers that they would wish to hear but are soon disregarded. I have mentioned I have words beneath words, and I have various reasons for them. Being careful is a constant as I do not wish to accidentally ‘slip up’.

You seek power, lust, strength, which has just reacknowledged my previous thoughts. You are enticed by the beauty of being a vampire, and not the horror that lies underneath. The horror you may think of may now be an enticement, the yearning to be different, and better than humans. Also not all hearts bleed for a sorrowful past, sometimes its the strength you have showed out of it. Mind me on that.
Very clever, I am in fact in England. I noticed the implications of your words but I have a peculiar sleeping habit if you so wish to know. 2-3am to 7 am (roughly 4 hours) and if by convenience I am able to sleep uninterupted without any obligations I sleep from 4-5 am till about 2-3pm. Mostly nocturnal.
I have not watched films with ‘elder vampires’ so I would not know how they would speak, but I can approximate to what you are thinking. I simply speak proper English, something that is sadly dying out. Also I can speak as I wish here as it has no consequence in the ‘outerworld’. Also are you aware how long time runs but how short each moment lasts. Modern words as you could call it are introduced and very quickly fade. It would be more obvious if I constantly used out dated words rather than simply speaking as one should.
Also so prudent are your words, you call it like you see it, as do I.

I was actually refering to ‘people’ who claim to be a vampire ‘out for all to see’. In no way was I referring to you or the other participants in this topic. Giving and honest opinion or life experiences is different to saying everything about something that should be kept quiet. The entire context of the writing was to say, some people, please a few others by stating something they wish to believe in when the item of topic is supposed to be regarded as secret, and even if some information is shared in reality if it were true it would not be on the entire encyclopedia of it. It is difficult to explain but I think what I wrote is adequate to convey partially what I meant.

Bleedme, when you ask God’s help you must be patient and also put the effort in yourself to turn your life around. You either believe or you don’t, but if you once had a belief in God then there must still be some of that there in your heart. God does not turn away from people who have asked him into their lives.
What you are asking for now is absolutely the opposite of God and if you go down the path you are contemplating you are on your own, without any protection whatsoever.
How do you know God was never there for you? Have you ever read the poem, ‘Footsteps in the Sand’? You probably have, but if you haven’t google it, it is a wonderful poem and explains that God is always there for us and protecting us, even if we are unaware of it.
None of us will find true contentment during our life on earth, but we must live our lives following good rather than evil for our souls to be saved.
Again, not meaning to be harsh, you are missing that people are trying to help you on here, which is probably similar to how you misinterpreted God’s lack of love for you.

I do prefer do give the benefit of the doubt as I have stated previously, and in saying that whether you are truthful with your words is not for me to decide. I am here only to seek information and respond to those that speak to me. You have elected to be one of those people. Yes, there are many possibilities that could explain what I have been experiencing recently. I am open to all of them. The mind is a power thing and is open and susceptible to the power of suggestion. I have heard of accounts of ‘Night Terrors’, but not walking nightmares. I suffer from seizures as well, which could be another explanation, or I may unknowingly have a brain tumor or lesion on my brain or spine. It is your own choice to regard my words as a truth or lie. Even if I state what I say is truth it is still up to you to interpret it in the way you wish to believe.
The concept I believe is called a ‘waking nightmare’ although as I had said this may not be the right term it is called. It is basically when the body undergoes paralysis and witness’ horrifying hallucinations that can feel very real. They can be caused by an underlying theme within ones mind (subconcious). I am not an expert in the subject but that is the loosely based concept of it. I have heard it can be beyond terrifying and almost too realisitc. This is just one explanation because as you mentioned the mind is very strange, and can play the strangest tricks.
As I had previously wrote, I believe to some extent in taking care in what I write. It is being what one could call careful. I can be very blunt but in the same instance I will be cautious of certain things I write. The world can be very strange.
The reason for calling you weak, I called you weak by what you have told me. Yes I do not know everything about you but I respond to what people tell me and react to what I am told and what I see in front of me, although those opinions may change later.
I see things as the reaction to the cause defines the person. In other words it is your following actions, how you take the situation and cope with it that make a person. If someone is ‘mugged’ and brutally battered till they are in hospital, even if they are nervous of going out but still continue to go out and live their life they are in their own right strong. If someone else has the same experience and then refuses to go out and will only dwell on the prospect of being hurt. In other words they do not move on with their life and just learn from it. This to me is weak. I chose this scenario simply as it is very general and it is completely hopefully unrelated and is just a simple example. I believe in strength of continuing to live ones life to the full no matter what obstacles there may be. I do understand there is a ‘lag’ period in which one is traumatised but when they can overcome it they, in my eyes, are someone strong and unique. Life is so short, and can be even shorter to others, there are many people in such harsh circumstances but still smile, and they are admirable. One woman, deformed legs, no arms, in increasing crippling pain but a painter,and a mother of which shows she can live her life and not dwell on her disadvantages. I am once again not hinting anything at you but explaining a view point so you see what I see.
Sometimes ones soul is something one would not wish to look at for it may show things no one would wish to see. You are intelligent and I have enjoyed our conversations. It is interesting one may wish to say.
I am not offended, and I hope not to offend you either. Like I said I can be blunt on some opinions of which can cause a degree of distaste. I often put in little notes in the messages after I read over them, that quote being one of them so they do not appear correct. It is just adding a little extra to the text before posting it. I am not completely using ‘Old English’ I admit and I do acknowledge that times change and writing styles differ and so I can accomodate to it. There are many words now never used before and many words used in the past that are un familiar now. It is adapting but not in a way that I have to be very focused on how I write as the words may soon become outdated, it is more of a universal approach. It is also easier to convery thoughts when using a wider range of vocabulary.
Also if I were using older English I would not be using can’t or won’t, sometimes changes makes things easier.

There has obviously been a misunderstanding somewhere along the way. I do not nor have I ever ‘loved’ being alone. It just seems that I have always no matter what have deeply felt alone with myself all of my life. As to me cutting myself I have been diagnosed with depersonalization dissociative disorder. I don’t want to go into detail with it, but I just wanted you to know that there is a medical/psychological reason why I cut myself. I am as well as to be as expected. Take that as you will. What do you personally have to say to those ,who like myself who believe in something much deeper than that of visions of beautiful vampires that are portrayed in films like “Twilight” and books by Anne Rice ? I know that not everyone believes in quite the same vision of a ‘vampire’ especially not what I envision. For I will say it again, what I long for may just very well be what you ache to escape from. I cannot say for certain for I can only describe what dwells deep within me and not that from which comes from novels and films or folklores told throughout the ages. My quest comes from my dreams. Yes, it is possible that they are manifested from years of watching movies and reading novels, but I feel that it comes from a deep desire, not fairy tails and made up stories, or legends. I see am rambling on, forgive me I tend to get lost in thought and carried away. I suppose what I was trying to get at was, what about those rare people who are not following the media, and novels as their source for their desire to be a part of the “vampiric” world? Surely you know by now that I do not speak of these modern day ‘vampire’ or any other types of vampires that most people speak of.

Unless Xavier is actually a girl then it would be her. You have just misread it as he had not used quotation marks. I hope that has cleared everything up.

If what I am hearing is you want to find out about vampires through things other than media sources be very careful some sources you do not want to find yourself in such as a cult. but yes I suppose if you try hard enough you could find an enigma of some sorts that may or may not lead you to what you want to find. Also, not all vampires are “beautiful” some are like random people they can look like the homeless, the obese, or actors/actresses and we certainly don’t sparkle in the light…

It is, as one would call it, the freedom of speech and the freedom to believe in what one wishes, regardless if it is the ‘supernatural’ or ‘religion’. Do not judge those if it is where they find strength and courage to do what is right, it is up to them. Although religion can be corrupt it can also be the foundation to many great things, it has brought about the brave who have given their lives to save others and teach compassion. With anything, there can be evil as well as good. It is also up to how one interprets it. To each his own. After a while, a person is a person, and a life is a life, such trivial things as what a person believes is pointless as they have th right to choose what they wish with their life.
Although I agree that everyone has the right to practice their faith and beliefs when it comes to religion and any other aspect, it does NOT give them the right to force their beliefs upon others. I believe that you are all missing the author’s point for you have managed to rile yourselves up with emotions about your faith and beliefs. Xavier’s point was for people to kindly stop bringing God and their faith into this thread. He was asking you to respect his wishes, for this is his thread. Religion is always and always will be an extremely touchy and emotional subject. Yes, we can say we have our beliefs just as Xavier has stated his, but there is no need to further on past that fact. I am sure it was not Xavier’s intentions to insult or offend anyone here. He merely wished to move on past the issue of religion and get back to what this thread originally started from. Again I believe you are taking this out of context. My whole point was that this thread is not about God, but about Xavier’s experiences. This thread is based on the “vampire”. That is what isit called afterall, Through the eyes of a Vampire, not through the eyes of God. It was never my entention to offend anyone. I was only pointing out that it seems as though some have gone off the beaten track of this thread. Xavier, you interest me a lot and i’d like to know more about who you are and the life you live, the life you lived before your change even would be fascinating. I will admit i’m a fan of twilight, it’s a good read for something fun but it was long before the books that immortality and the existence of Vampires interested me. How can it not!! I do not think that they are all beautifully pale with magical powers and shiny skin (hehe) but like you have said just people with the gift/curse of immortality.

I know, ‘some specific things’ exist but I have never run the experience of encountering what anyone would term a vampire, therefore although slightly more sceptical, I will not make a clear statement in regards to if they exist or not. I find vampires a peculiar subject and I have seen and noticed, ‘others’ mistaken as a vampire, or maybe a vampire is just a generalisation for a certain number of familiar characteristics, such as diet of blood.

Aliens, ghosts, and vampires are all very very different things, just because one may exist does not prove the existance of another, one supernatural does not make all the others real. I also said, that I do not know if they exist or not and therefore will not make a clear definate statement, but I do know the world is not black and white, there is a lot of grey.

Actually I am not only responding to you, I am responding to some one elses comment who just so happens to have the same sort of thread as yours. Also, if you have no interest in what I write, don’t read it.
Xavier, humans provide good conversation? I admit some can hold a few intelligent thoughts but for the most they are like sheep. It is really difficult to find common respect around ones so thoughtless they will listen to any authority just because they are told. A large example, which you should know of oh so well, is during the second world war in Germany. I find entertainment sometimes in their lives, there is not much else to do. They can come up with the strangest thoughts which even now can make me stop and think. Anyone mundane, or living by the ‘at the time culture’ quickly loses my interest.
I do not like cow blood so much, it tastes more watery, less rich in my opinion. Then again I do not need blood as a stable food source, I eat anything but I do enjoy a good ol’ rare steak.

One of the 13 rules is that it is advised to keep who you are secretary to the society, I am not writing to judge to only understand. How long have you been a Vampyre (Vampire)? Was it terribly painful?
I find this facinating, I apologize for anything that was offensive, but I am looking out for the welfare of you and all that are like you.
There are other ways to satisfy thirst if you are internested, in the knowledge. Drinking thick substances and warm and thick, can trisk the body (human or otherwise) into believing that it is blood.
And I am not sure how it is if you reisde in a Coven, but you are allowed to drink from humans as consenting donors only taking what the donor will allow you to have, and you must be sure that this donor will be discretionary, selcting a loud-mouthed one can become harmful to everyone.

I doubt he would need ‘looking out for’ (no offense), and if his story is true, although I have found a few ‘slip ups’ as one could say, I think he would know a thing or two from his short/ long (whichever way you wish to look at it) life. But you do state some truth in what you write, last thing anyone would need is someone who cannot hold their tongue. Apart from being uncommonly annoying it is as you say dangerous. Thats why it is better to trust no one, and suspect everyone. Also risks should not be taken.
Also, just for the record, I am not a vampire, but there are (as I have mentioned) ‘other things’ out there. However as ‘vampire’ is not clearly defined I am often mistaken for one. You would be suprised by my physical appearance age compared to, lets just say mental age.

I strive, not to prove my individuality, but rather to be as I am, if that means then being different and sometimes speaking in what would be perceived as a crude manner then so be it. No matter who you are in this world, there will always be people who will ‘appreciate’ you aswell as those who will despise you. I am glad that I am not only the latter. ‘Cogito, ergo sum’, which simply translates to, ‘I think, therefore I am’.

Xavier, how cliché, your words sound as though they were straight out of the pages from a novel or perhaps a movie. You would kill? That would definately not draw attention to yourself, note sarcasm. So predictable, so easily disastrous, and all the more easy to find. Also there is more than one way to kill, and I do not in any way mean physically. Of course I will not divulge on these notions but on another similar note, why so shrouded. In public, the mask of humanity amongst the masses is something you should be quite good at.
In truth vamparism can be seen as a disease. A disease actually means that the body is functioning mentally/ physically in an abnormal manner. Therefore many can be seen to be diseased if this is the concept taken. It depends on how one views it.

Even a person with a scar or mark visible on their body, people will become apprehensive of sitting next to them.
Also, one who is truly afflicted with anything, regardless of what it is, would be constantly conscious about it and depending on what it is ,excessive care may need to be taken which can be draining as one must always have to think about it. I have known people who have had diseases such as HIV and had only found out after their untimely death. Even without the realms of the supernatural there is still secrecy over ‘health’ or abnormal related matters.

Childlike, as to where, how, and when the windigo begain I really do not know. The story of the windigo was told to me by my great-grandmother when I was a child still living with my family on our reservation. Where it is true or not I really can not say, but the tribal elders believed them to be true and warned us quite frequently not to wander off alone.

I still stand by what I said before, I think there is no such thing as vampires and people who pretend to be them are people who desperately want to be someone else because they are truly unhappy with themselves whether it be a physical or mental illness. I mean, come on, if vampires truly existed, I am sure they wouldnt make it public or post blogs on the net about themselves hoping to reveal themselves to the world and the coven. Grow up.

I used wikipedia as a reference or an example, not to be taken as the sole source merely a suggestion. You can pick apart any source of information easily for all have flaws. And I get out plenty enough to suite me just fine. No, I do not believe everything I read, and I am not gullible. Yet I find interest in what others have to say, yourself included. You say you were merely calling Xavier’s bluff. Well, bravo for you. There is no question here or doubts that you do not believe what Xavier has stated, and that’s your right to do so. Yes, from where I am sitting it looks as if you were doing exactly as you claim to be doing in calling his bluff (antagonizing), or pushing his buttons. What I was getting at is that ‘if’ (and I emphasize on the ‘if’, because I have no clue who you are or what you are about) if you were taking this serious, then you were going about it all wrong. It was my opinion that a person would have to be a fool to do such a thing, and that you were leading readers of this thread to believe that, not so much myself might I add. As far as my screen name goes, well it was the first thing that came to mind, and I like it. I wrote the history of a town, stating it was built by orphans rescued from a burning church…it was VERY elaborate, and, pretty funny.
What should be questioned is if vampires DO exist… There have been sightings and encounters throughout history, much like UFO’s, Ghost’s, and Big Foot. All the evidence come from actual encounters, and not concrete evidence, like having one of the above mentioned being scientifically studied (That we know about anyway). I personally believe all these things. Not because I have personally experienced any of these odd phenomenons, but because there are so many things on this earth that are yet discovered.
A few months ago a family friend of mine caught a pixie faerie on camera… Sounds odd… and some may think I am lying. That does NOT matter, for I know whats true. I think to experience certain things, one must open their mind to them.

Me either I don’t believe in vampires, but I think he is just looking for attention, he could be a bored kid home alone with no friends, and this thread dragging on and on is just giving him something to do. I know he clamied to have been ” changed ” when he was 22 or 23, but in reality, I think he’s about 14! Ask him to join TP and then you can private message him??

If you work out of the home, what exactly do you do? Online stuff? I know you don’t need food, but you have other expenses. You would have to pay for the internet you are using, electricity to run your computer, water, property taxes, and other things. Even if you did work from the home, you still would have to give your employer your Social Security number, a diploma (depending on the job), and other personal information to keep on record, so you get paid, and taxes can be deducted. So being as old as you are, and not being able to furnish these records ( In current time, to avoid suspicion of identity theft), how do you do it?

My mentality ages normally but to keep my sanity I still do joke around and mingle, so the answer I guess, would be that I learn the same as any while barely aging and I stil
